Easter Day pics

Easter morning pics of the kids finding their Easter baskets.

Zoe had a special suprise from the Easter bunny this year...

... a Barbie scooter. And she sure likes it.

Trent wasn't quite sure what to think of the situation.

Then we were off to Grandma Mary's to visit with her and Uncle Dave. And guess what?
The Easter bunny was there too. And gave Zoe a nifty new pair of sunglasses.

Trent got a new toy, too!

And some good snuggle time with Grandma.

Then, out to Grandma Kay and Grandpa Ray's place for more Easter fun, including an Easter egg hunt.

Even the goats got their favorite treats... animal crackers.

The day wound down with a grandpa snuggle and a diet pepsi. :)

embroidery & sweet potatoes

Zoe is learning how to embroider and has caught on quite quickly. She is working on a kitty she drew on some fabric. Imagine that, right? When she has finished, we will post some pictures of her first masterpiece. Here she is concentrating on the stitching.

Sweet potatoes for my little sweet potato. Trent tried homemade sweet potatoes for the first time the other day and instantly loved them. No funny face for that one. He practically dives at the spoon for them. He's also sitting in a high chair now. The high chair he's in is a lender from my folks... it has held every grandchild for 21 years and they have the pictures to prove it.
