Daddy's Day

Daddy's day started off with a game of cards in bed (rather Daddy was ready for it or not) and then a big cup of coffee to get things started. Once Daddy felt a little more... alive... Zoe gave him the cards that she and Trent made for him. After Daddy opened his present... speakers for his stereo. They enjoyed listening to Frank Zappa, Jackson Brown, Jimmy Cliff, Cindi Lauper... and playing their guitars together.

Trent enjoyed the concert while he had some breakfast.

Then, Zoe made Grandpa Ray some cards, a milk jug bird feeder and decorated a bag with a drawing of a blue jay for bird seed. Grandpa really liked his Father's Day present and hung it up outside the kitchen window with his other bird feeders.
That night, we had a little weather moving thru. The weather man, talking about loosing reception of their station said if you get the rabbit ears and a little tin foil, you'll be alright. Zoe didn't hear the part about the reception and thought if she had "rabbit ears" and a little tin foil (apparently wrapped around her butt) she would be safe from the storm. :)

It was a good day.
